Snapmaker's Light Up The Love
Video Contest
Valentine's Day puts a spotlight on the special relationships we have in our lives.
Traditionally, this means candy, gifts, candlelit dinners, and other outpourings of affection for your significant other.
But love is more than that.
It's the sparks that fly for new romance, and the torch we carry for our spouses, but it also extends to the warm glow we feel for our children, our pets, our friends, and how Snapmaker feels about our user community.
That's why this Valentine's Day season Snapmaker is running our Light Up The Love Video Contest!
Use Your Snapmaker To:
Build a beautiful lamp, a light up diorama, or a light toy for someone you love - anything that plays with the themes of Light and/or Love, and make a video.
Your creation can be a unique design you made yourself, or something simple that you downloaded off the internet. 3D Printing, Laser Cutting/Engraving, and CNC Carving are all fantastic!
How to Join:
- Upload your video to YouTube Shorts! (Make sure it's in Vertical Format and under 60s)
- Make sure to tag #SnapmakerLightUp
- Upload your submission to the Gleam plug-in below.
How to Win:
Judges will grade each project on 3 criteria:
- The Project: How cool is the creation?
- The Video: How entertaining is this video?
- The Love: Can you feel the love tonight?
Scores will be averaged for each submission, with the top 5 scoring videos winning. At least 3 victory slots will be reserved for new Test Pilots.

The top five contestants each win:

The contest will run from February 1st to February 28th.
Detailed Information
🗒Rules
- Upload your Snapmaker Light up the Love video to YouTube Shorts with the hashtag #snapmakerlightup, and then submit the video link to the Gleam widget above!
- This contest is on YouTube Shorts in Vertical Format and < 60s.
- You're free to submit more than one video, but each contestant can only win one victory slot per contest.
- Ensure that a significant portion of your work is created using your Snapmaker machine.
- Submissions not following proper safety protocols will be disqualified.
- Submissions close at midnight, 28 February 2025, Paris Time.
💼Evaluation
We will invite contributors from the Snapmaker user community, the community moderators team, and Snapmaker team members to participate in the voting process within the specified time frame.

- How are the winners picked?
The winners are picked based on the evaluation method explained above. Videos are also screened for validity based on the Rules mentioned above.
- How do I know if I win?
We will announce the results on our official social media accounts. We will also email the winners.
- If I win, how do I claim the prize?
We will contact you through the email address you logged in with. Please reply to claim your prize.
- What if I upload the wrong video link?
You can contact us on social media or via affiliate[@]snapmaker.com and we will help to reset your entry.

🔧Terms and Conditions
- Regarding the helmet: Please note that the helmet design in the prize poster is for promotional purposes only. The actual helmet may not match this depiction.
- The winning submissions will be announced within 2 weeks of the contest closing date, and the winners will be contacted via the email they signed up with. Arrangements will be made for the winners to receive their preferred prizes through email. We'll do our best to contact the winners, but if we reach out several times over the course of a week or more with no response, the prize will be awarded to the next highest scoring submission that has not already won.
- By submitting an entry, you authorize Snapmaker, or any person acting on behalf of Snapmaker to edit, publish, distribute, and use for any purpose your submitted content throughout the world without any further notice, review, or consent. However, Snapmaker will guarantee your authorship rights, so your name will be credited.
- We reserve the right to terminate and change the terms at any time.
