Snapmaker Collaborated with Former Toshiba China CEO Mr. Isao Sugehara to Expand Japan Market

On 8th August, 2022, manufacturer of digital fabrication machines Snapmaker announced its strategic cooperation with Mr. Isao Sugehara, marking a step forward in Japan market.

Mr. Isao Sugehara joined Toshiba, a leading provider of technology solutions with headquarters in Japan, for more than 30 years and was appointed as China CEO of Toshiba in 2017. In response to the cooperation with Snapmaker, he said “I’m thrilled to be joining Snapmaker as a strategic channel consultant. Having managed 2D printing and MFP business across the US, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, and Africa, I look forward to bringing my experience to the table as we expand Snapmaker business in Japan. Together, we’ll be aiming for the top spot in Japan’s 3D printer market.”

Previously, under the recommendation of Mr. Isao Sugehara, the well-known Japanese electronics industry newspaper “Electronic Device Industry News” interviewed Snapmaker about its development status and future development plans in the Japanese market and stated that “Snapmaker is a promising Chinese startup.” Besides that, on 11th August, 2022, one of Japan’s major television networks TV Asahi introduced Snapmaker during evening peak hours via Mr. Isao Sugehara’s connection, saying Snapmaker is the representative of Chinese start-up companies that lift manufacturing productivitywhile reducing the labor through automation equipment.
