What's better than enjoying a long summer day than by doing it with your furry friends by your side? This summer, we invite you to join the Snapmaker Pet and Passion Summertime Hangout Video Challenge: Use your Snapmaker to make a pet toy, accessory, or a portrait of your kitty cat to hang on your beachside bungalow - anything to do with your pets! Your creation can be a unique design you made yourself, or something simple that you downloaded off the internet. 3D Printing, Laser Cutting/Engraving, and CNC Carving are all great ways to have fun in the sun with your little furry one! The contest will run from July 17th to August 31st, 11:59pm Hawaii Time.

🎁Prizes

The top 3 contestants will each win the following prizes:

• 1 Year of Pet Insurance for either 1 Dog or 2 x Cats, through an insurance company and plan of Snapmaker's choosing, issued as a reimbursement of expenses.

• 1 x Snapmaker Test Pilot Helmet, signifying the recipient's enrollment in the Snapmaker Test Pilot Program (they will get to test new Snapmaker products in the prototype stage!)

🗒Rules

• Length of video should be under 60s
• Format of the video should be Vertical
• Upload your Pet and Passion video to YouTube Shorts with the hashtag #snapmakersummer, and then submit the video link to the Gleam widget above!
• Ensure that over 80% of the components in your work are created using your Snapmaker machine.
• Extension! Submissions close on August 31st, 2024 at 11:59pm, Hawaii Time.

💼Evaluation

We will invite contributors from the Snapmaker user community, the community moderators team, and a small number of Snapmaker team members to participate in the voting process within the specified time frame.
We will select 3 winners, one for each of the following categories:

• Most Creative Project: (A combination of the video, the creation, and how the creation was used)
• The Best of Summer Award: Which project fit best with the "Summertime" Theme?
• Best In Show Award: Which furry (or feathery, or scaly) friend did you feel put on the best show?

❓FAQ

• How are the winners picked?
The winners are picked based on the evaluation method explained above. Videos are also screened for validity based on the Rules mentioned above.
• How do I know if I win?
We will announce the results on our website and official social media accounts on Wednesday, September 12th. We will also email the winners.
• If I win, how do I claim the prize?
We will contact you through the email address you logged in with. Please reply to claim your prize.
• What if I upload the wrong video link?
You can contact us on social media or via social@snapmaker.com and we will help to reset your entry.
• Who should I ask if I have questions about this event?

🔧Terms and Conditions

• Regarding the Pet Insurance: This will be decided in collaboration with the winners as to which company and which plan is most suitable for the winner's pet(s). Snapmaker will reimburse for 1 Year of Pet Insurance to a Maximum of $1000 USD.
• Regarding the helmet: Please note that the helmet design in the prize poster is for promotional purposes only. The actual helmet may not match this depiction.
• The winning submissions will be announced on 9.12, and the winners will be contacted via the email they signed up with. Arrangements will be made for the winners to receive their preferred prizes through email. We'll do our best to contact the winners, but if we reach out several times over the course of a week or more with no response, the prize will be awarded to the next highest scoring submission that has not already won.
• By submitting an entry, you authorize Snapmaker, or any person acting on behalf of Snapmaker to edit, publish, distribute, and use for any purpose your submitted content throughout the world without any further notice, review, or consent. However, Snapmaker will guarantee your authorship rights, so your name will be credited.
• We reserve the right to terminate and change the terms at any time.


